Our offices serve as an outreach to veterans and insure veterans' priority of service in referral to jobs and other services. Employment-related testing, training information, skills assessment and case management are among the services provided.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is an employment training program for low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55 years and older.

WIOA Reentry Program
The Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) has provided Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) an opportunity to improve public safety, reduce government spending, and grow the local economy through work-based reentry programs.
SNAP Employment & Training
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment and Training helps eligible participants achieve their vocational goals and increase self-sufficiency through funded education, skills training, and supportive services. SNAP E&T services are a combined effort between the Department of Human Services (TDHS), Department of Labor (TDLWD), and community partnerships.
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)
The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program offers a variety of benefits and services to workers who lose their jobs or whose hours of work are reduced as a result of increased imports. Workers whose company is an upstream supplier to the primary company or a downstream finisher may also apply. The goal of TAA is to help trade-affected workers return to suitable employment as quickly as possible.
Migrant & Seasonal Farm Workers (MSFW)
Many migrant farmworkers travel to Tennessee each year to help with the cultivating and harvesting of several crops in specific regions of the state. Through our Migrant and Seasonal Farm Worker Program, we help farmworkers and the employers who hire them.
Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA)
This federally funded program provides intensive reemployment services to eligible claimants receiving unemployment benefits who are selected to participate. Once an unemployment claim is filed and a customer is selected, it is a federal requirement that the customer participate in the RESEA program to continue to receive their unemployment benefits.
Tennessee Office of Reentry (OOR)
The Tennessee Office of Reentry (OOR) is housed in the Workforce Services Division and has been in existence since July 1, 2021. OOR’s mission is to provide comprehensive workforce services to support justice involved individuals who are reentering society. OOR is positioned to be the first state-funded, non-correction-affiliated office of reentry in the nation, which puts OOR in a unique space.
The H-2A temporary agricultural program allows agricultural employers who anticipate a shortage of domestic workers to bring nonimmigrant foreign workers to the U.S. to perform agricultural labor or services of a temporary or seasonal nature.
The H-2B nonimmigrant program permits employers to temporarily hire nonimmigrants to perform nonagricultural labor or services in the United States.
