Underground Storage Tanks

Guidance for Tank Owners During the COVID-19 Situation
While the department is attempting to operate as normally as possible during these extraordinary times, the Division of Underground Storage Tanks (UST) is following BOE Guidance for Operations During the COVID-19 Situation. Read Director’s Memo about specific steps that the UST Program is taking to exercise common sense regulatory discretion, effective March 26, 2020 through April 30, 2020.

The mission of the Division of Underground Storage Tanks is to protect human health and environment by preventing future petroleum underground storage tank releases and remediating existing petroleum underground storage tank contamination.
