HHW Mobile Collection Analysis

Since the program’s inception in 1993, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has provided Tennessee Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Collection Event services to counties to aid in the management of household hazardous wastes (HHW). To date, there have been over 1,300 one-day collection events with over 350,000 Tennessee families safely disposing over 22 million pounds of HHW.
