5 Years in a Row - Tennessee Department of General Services Named a Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee
Commissioner Christi Branscom Recognized with Leadership AwardNASHVILLE, TN – The Tennessee Department of General Services has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2024 honor by The Tennessean Top Workplaces. The announcement was made during the award ceremony held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Music City Center. This makes the fifth year in a row that the department has received this honor.
The list of Top Workplaces is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures fifteen culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
Christi Branscom, commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services, was also recognized during the event with the Top Workplace Leadership Award in Middle Tennessee among all the recognized mid-sized businesses.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
"This Top Workplace award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees," said Christi Branscom, commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services. "Receiving this honor for the fifth consecutive year fills me with pride. I am incredibly proud of the work we do and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such a talented and committed team. Their dedication to excellence is evident in everything they do for the State of Tennessee and its citizens, making our organization a truly outstanding place to work."
