FastTrack Grants are made to local communities for public infrastructure improvements. The funds must be used for specific infrastructure projects benefitting one or more companies committed to creating new jobs and/or making new capital investments. These funds require local matching funds based on a community’s ability to pay.

Community Development Block Grant
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds are available to communities across the state that do not get funding directly from HUD. The funds are awarded based on applications submitted each year in February and are typically awarded in the fall. Funds are available for sewer systems and lines, water systems and lines, housing rehabilitation and health and safety projects.

The Tennessee Main Street® (TMS) Program serves as a statewide resource for communities seeking to revitalize and manage their traditional downtowns.It was established by legislature to assist these communities with their economic development and revitalization efforts.
