The Compensation Division serves as a consultative resource for State agencies on various topics related to job classifications and compensation initiatives. We focus on developing strategies and solutions for agency success. To do this, we are responsible for the following:

  • Administration and maintenance of pay structures
  • Job evaluation, classification, and architecture
  • Legal and compliance support
  • Participation in surveys and market analysis of jobs
  • Training on processes, classifications, and compensation-related topics
