What We Do

Criminal Investigation Division
The Criminal Investigation Division investigates, gathers evidence, and assists federal, state, and local law enforcement.

Critical Incident Response Team
The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) is responsible for assisting other members of the Department in the investigation and reconstruction of motor vehicle traffic crashes.

Identity Crimes Unit
The Identity Crimes Unit investigates identity crimes and to assist local, state, and federal agencies with the investigation of certain identity crimes.
