Workers' Compensation Medical Advisory Committee

Created from the 2013 Worker' Compensation Reform Act, the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) provides advice to the administrator on issues related to the  treatment of injured workers.   The Administrator may request the committee to advise on the medical aspects of the Bureau’s various programs in advancing the goal of ensuring that all injured employees receive superior quality and cost-efficient treatment to facilitate a meaningful recovery from injury and a swift, safe return to the workforce.
